How to Verify a Made-in-China Auto Parts Supplier

A detailed supplier page helps buyers find candidates. Order approval still requires product-specific checks that connect the listed company to the quotation, factory role, requested part, sample, and payment path.

When to use this guide

Use this playbook after collecting a supplier profile and quotation. Keep the platform evidence, then test whether the commercial and manufacturing details remain consistent when applied to your actual auto parts order.

Decision checklist

What the buyer should verify

01

Company consistency

Compare the supplier page, Chinese business license, quotation, invoice, website, email domain, address, and proposed bank beneficiary.

02

Manufacturing relationship

Ask which site makes the product, which steps are in-house, whether another factory is involved, and who controls tooling and quality records.

03

Certificate relevance

Check holder name, site, scope, product or model coverage, issue body, validity, and whether the document applies to the quoted order.

04

Order controls

Confirm sample approval, inspection access, packaging, correction duty, production lead time, and balance-payment condition.

Working sequence

Move from supplier claim to buyer decision

01

Save the profile evidence

Record the supplier claims, company name, location, product range, certifications, and contact details used in your decision.

02

Test the claims against the RFQ

Ask for product-specific production, testing, sample, and packaging evidence instead of relying on general company material.

03

Resolve party differences

Document the roles of the factory, trading company, exporter, invoice issuer, and payment beneficiary where more than one entity appears.

04

Approve the order record

Connect the final specification, sample, quotation, inspection plan, and shipment documents before deposit.

Evidence to collect

  • Supplier profile and Chinese legal-company information
  • Product-specific site, equipment, sample, and quality evidence
  • Certificate copies checked for holder, scope, model, and validity
  • Consistent quotation, invoice, exporter, and bank beneficiary roles
  • Written sample, inspection, correction, packaging, and shipment terms

Warning signs

  • The supplier profile and proforma invoice use unrelated company names without explanation.
  • Certificates are shown as images but the holder, model, or scope does not match the order.
  • The seller refuses a product-specific sample or inspection arrangement.

Responsibility boundary

Kymon is not affiliated with Made-in-China. Platform information is one evidence source. Verification should label confirmed facts, supplier statements, missing documents, and items that require samples or inspection.
