Supplier due-diligence worksheet
Chinese Auto Parts Supplier Verification Checklist
Supplier verification should produce a record of confirmed facts, supplier statements, missing evidence, and order-specific controls. A registration check alone cannot approve a product or shipment.

When to use this guide
Use this checklist before paying a new supplier, when a factory claim is unclear, or when company names differ across a storefront, quotation, invoice, exporter, and bank beneficiary.
Decision checklist
What the buyer should verify
Legal identity
Record Chinese company name, unified social credit code, registration status, address, business scope, legal representative, and establishment details where available.
Commercial identity
Compare the website, email domain, quotation, invoice, export party, payment beneficiary, addresses, phone numbers, and signatory authority.
Factory and product capability
Check the manufacturing relationship, relevant process, equipment, tooling, staff, capacity, test access, quality controls, samples, and subcontracting.
Order readiness
Review MOQ, lead time, sample approval, packaging, certificates, inspection access, complaint handling, correction terms, and shipment documents.
Working sequence
Move from supplier claim to buyer decision
Collect the complete supplier file
Request the legal company details, quotation, invoice format, bank information, site evidence, certificates, and product-specific records.
Cross-check every company name
Explain the role of each factory, trader, exporter, collection company, and brand owner in writing.
Test claims against your product
Ask questions about the exact part, process, material, test, tooling, packaging, and production plan instead of general factory capacity.
Set the next control
Use samples, site checks, document validation, inspection, or payment conditions to address risks that cannot be closed remotely.
Evidence to collect
- Chinese registration and consistent company identifiers
- Quotation, invoice, exporter, and bank beneficiary relationship
- Product-specific factory, equipment, tooling, and process evidence
- Certificate holder, scope, site, model, standard, and validity
- Sample, inspection, correction, packaging, and shipment terms
Warning signs
- The supplier cannot explain why several unrelated companies appear in the transaction.
- Factory evidence is generic, old, edited, or unrelated to the requested category.
- The seller resists samples, inspection, written specifications, or documented correction duties.
Responsibility boundary
Remote verification does not replace a technical audit, financial audit, laboratory test, social-compliance audit, or order-specific inspection. Use the level of checking that matches product and payment risk.
